Games a player won divided by all games played in their matches: a finer measure of dominance than wins.
Formula
games won / (games won + games lost)Wins and losses treat a 6-0 6-0 and a 7-6 6-7 7-6 the same. The share of games won does not, which makes it steadier over a small number of matches and a good second number next to the win rate.
Since 2019 Jannik Sinner has won 57.7% of the games in his ATP matches here (completed and retired) and Carlos Alcaraz 58.0%. Both numbers are returned per surface and per season.
The common mistake
Retired matches count the games played before the retirement, and walkovers count nothing. A season with several retirements reads lower than the tennis it held.
